I know I'm late to the party but really nice work how did you do the thatch roof any tips to get that realistic look?

Its all hand thatch, just followed the real thatchers tips and tricks, used hemp for the thatching

Eileen Mullay this building with a hand thatched roof was sold for £150. Half done job so to speak if I’d of finished it you’d be looking about £350 for it.

I used to collect 54mm miniatures, but due to limited space and cost I decided to convert to 1/72 scale. Great model nevertheless though!

Yes you are quite right, 54mm does take up a lot of space. But love working on this scale.
