Bought this album on CD when it first came out in 1986 and I still play it in my car. Actually 3 greats when you add Al Jarreau!! RIP Dave and Al. Such sweet cool Jazz which I listen on my laptop at work when I can. I'm trying to get my younger daughters turned onto to this music.

In Moon Tune Sanborn has a beautiful soaring classical-esque tone. Sanborn was a truly brilliant musician. Superb. I could imagine him even playing sonatas and classical repertoire and his interpretation would be so expresive and transcendent of the notes, into powerful musical intent and expression.
