Sino, I’m F2P and resource management is part of being a good F2P player. There is no time limit on albums. If you want that emote, you can save up tokens over time to get the ultimate variant. You can buy token Tuesdays. You can get 1000 tokens from a spotlight key. Don’t underestimate how much resources F2P can get. And like STG said, it’s a cosmetic. You don’t need it.

I agree 100% with STG. People would feel much better once they accept that not every part of the game is for you. Different strokes for different folks.

You can also get 1000 F2P tokens from a spotlight key. Also, the data shows most people are hoarding tokens and have plenty on hand to get an ultimate variant if that’s what they prioritize. I’m F2P and I have 40,500 tokens at the moment.

I'm by no means a F2P player, but from what I understand, I think the issue with the Cyclops emote vs the Artgerm Lady Thor is the amount of resources needed to get both are vastly different. With the battle pass, yes, it is behind a paywall, but $10 for most people is very minimal investment for a game they enjoy and will be within the means of most players. While most f2p players will opt out of the battle pass because they want to keep that status, the option to get it is there if they feel strongly about a particular variant or emote. Whereas, with the Artgerm Lady Thor being a required part of the album, the ask becomes much greater. In this case, not only do you need 11 other variants that are all 1,200 gold, you also are required to spend the rarest resource in the game (i.e. collector tokens) on a cosmetic, which is something that even moderate spenders in this game are loathe to do. Basically, the album becomes something that is only attainable for either frivolous spenders that are fine foregoing their collection progression for a cosmetic, or for whales. TL;DR, $10 is an easier pill to swallow than the insane amount of time and resources required to get Lady Thor as an F2P player.

Also worth noting that the monetary value of an ultimate variant is far more than what the battle pass costs. I know you mentioned that you can get tokens with enough time, but when you're talking about a period of anywhere from 6-12 months in order to have the resources to get the item, that's not going to be reasonable for any rational human being lol.

I’m F2P and I’m okay with the game putting cosmetics behind a paywall. The game needs to make money somehow and I’m glad they do it in a way that doesn’t affect the gameplay.

I think you’re mistaken about the Loki mockingbird interaction. They nerfed Loki so the cards you get from Loki are transformed cards that did start in your deck. Just like Loki no longer works with the collector, I think Loki will not work with mockingbird.
