Polymorphism means binding different behaviour with object not with class .

@@jay-lz6dz yes I am sure . Tell me characteristics of compile time ploy . If you think static functions are compile time , Then let me give you a reality check , Static functions are class level functions and they are associated with class .

@@jay-lz6dz no jay , Please donot get confused . Have you heard about virtual keyword ? How you are going to tell jvm to compile some func at compile time and some func to run time . Method over loading comes under compile time as per oops .but java has implemented it at run time .

@@Adityakumar-wp2mkok thn why when we create same name of methods in same class with same parameters or or same argument gives an error before run??? Isn't that called compile time error ?
