This is great inspiration for my laundry closet! I took my doors off as well, but I still want to be able to hide the laundry room away since mine is in the hallway. I added a tension curtain rod and easy sliding curtains so that I can easily access everything 😊

Your revamped laundry nook looks so good now. I love the paint colour you chose for your cupboards :-) PS The hamper liner is a good idea because delicate clothing can snag on the rough edges of wicker baskets.

I'm redoing my laudry closet and I bought a GE stackable laudry set (top loading washer with dryer on top). These are sometimes used in apartments but hold more laudry than you might think. This gives me room to add a small freezer in the space, which we really need. A narrow but tall cabinet will fit between the two, and there is space for a cabinet or shelves above the freezer. Loved your makeover!

I have since moved and I never removed the tiles so I can't say with certainty. Make sure to read reviews for whatever tile you use - people often share their experience with removal there!

I love this! I moved some things around in my laundry room and now have a dryer vent that is in the way. I see yours going up the wall...could you share more about this? Was it always here? Does it vent directly to an outside wall or does it turn a corner {left or right) and then goes to the outside? I am asking because I am looking for a solution for mine. Thank you in advance.

At around 16 mins in this video I talk a little bit more in depth how we worked around the dryer vent and I show what it looks like on the floor. It was always there and just goes straight up the wall. If you watch the video where we built the cabinets (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGfOh2SNidNshNU) you can see the vent a little better too and how we worked around it! Hopefully that helps!

Why no shelves in the upper cabinets? That’s a lot of wasted space. Oops, at the end I noticed you do have inside shelves, but you didn’t show how they were done. Hope they were done before hanging the shells

The door is quite important to isolate noise coming from lundry machines..don't understand why need remove it.

I agree that the noise was a drawback for removing the doors, but it worked for our situation. Since the laundry was in the kitchen it kept the noise down through the rest of the house and it's the white noise that we got used to and didn't bother us. I can see why you feel this way though😀I hope this helps you to understand the thought process a little more.
