Nice job Bill ! 16 minutes of picken! I had to use key pins in the top beacuse standard top pins or the spool pins were to long and would jam the lock.

The one dislike was from a PR for both Masterlock and Kwikset. They were jealous and butthurt over the complexity of this lock. It completely outshines the poor quality locks they sell.

To get a door to accommodate this lock would be about 2ft thick :D Good job, Bill. I think "Raking the Kraken" should be on a t-shirt somewhere.

That is pretty amazing. Congrats to Wayne for great work making the cylinder and To Bill for picking the monster. The off line holes cause the huge false sets, I can't imagine picking a cylinder like this that was factory made with the holes in line.

Ice been watching your channel all day today on my day off and wanted to say thanks for the great info and almost addicting videos ha. I'm buying my first picking kit, the sparrows monstrum set in a week or two and looking forward to making my own videos. Hope to swap with you as well and looking forward to future uploads. Cheers. So when you sent it out to the next picker. Did you include the two picks you had to make with for the pick? Wondering if the production of the needed picks would be part of the pick or if your generosity included the picks? Absolutely awesome pick! !

OMG ! BRUTAL ! Awesome picking again Bill !! Lotta work went into that lock to fool the King - but didnt fool the King ! You made a longer, extended "hook"; why not a longer/extended "gem" - why the hook ?? PS: I have longer tweezers on the way for you ;)

Lovely job of picking that epic beast! Quick too, not that much longer than your usual offerings even with twice as many pins.

I'm 6'6" and have enormous hands, my fingers are very long and VERY thick, this is my biggest challenge so far with lock picking, I am very sensitive to the feedback and i understand the mechanisms and they're weaknesses. it's just hard to pick a lot of locks, my hands are cramped from all the finite work.

What a fight! And What a pick! If you put it in a door you have to be carefull to not hit your head on the lock, that´s sticking out at the inside of it.; )

Wow!! So the first 7 pin holes are from the factory and Wayne added the rest?
@waynewinton10 жыл бұрын
No, only 5 pins from factory. Using only drill press and dremmel tool Thus the odd not perfect milling and line pin holes to add the rest.
@jeffmoss2610 жыл бұрын
Wayne Winton if you get another lock the same size let me know. Maybe we could put all the holes in it with a Bridgeport at work :D
@waynewinton10 жыл бұрын
***** Ok will do. What about the key? Can you put proper millings on a key.

If you just put the key in after disassembly you can use tweezers to remove the key pins they will all stick up! driving me nuts Bill. lol
@devin21564 жыл бұрын
T Hess you won’t be able to grab them because they would be flush with the shearline.
@thess24634 жыл бұрын
@@devin2156 yes but if the lock is disassembled and the driver pins are captured, the key pins will stick above the shear line as you slide the key in. You can pick them off one by one with tweezers. Or try a wrong key either is better than trying to dump them one by one.
