Tiling in December is no joke! ❄ The pre-ripping and frost challenges were handled like pros-can't wait to see the final lateral connections in spring!

Grant for your next mobile game you could make a mudding/camping/boating game with a bunch of different trucks, boats, atvs, etc. Then you could have a ton of different mud paths and stuff like that

hey Grant who is your favorite JD Tractor? 1. 8110 2. 4020 3. 8320 or all of the about?
@granthilbert563219 сағат бұрын
I'd say 8110, 8320R, 4020. All are great! But for reliability and nice overall use on the farm it would go in that order!

How does the water get in the pipes in the dirt knot and how does the water get in the pipes just overall
@NoahH_RailfanКүн бұрын
There's little slits in the pipe. Water can get on through, but it's too small for dirt

Can tiling fields make them to dry?
@granthilbert563220 сағат бұрын
This is something I've debated mentally forever. I was told tile only removed excess water. Meaning the roots will never grow into the water table so it would be considered excess. That makes sense. Then I question why guys in SD like Ag PHD put tile a bit more shallow because they don't get as much rain? Like why would you want the water table higher? It’s a conflicting statement. I'm guessing it's because there's transpiration from the water table through the soil then to the roots. With that being said even in really dry years in Iowa I've seen extremely better yields over the tile lines. It pays nicely in dry years also (in my opinion). For now ,with my little experience, I'm on the side that tile can never make them too dry, but I'll keep learning into the future and hopefully understand it better.

So why do u not hook the excavator to the tractor instead of the 8110 u would have a lot more traction with the excavator
