I had a bank teller, fresh on the job, be the one to take in all my ones to exchange them for bigger bills and she asked me how I was able to have so many ones as she gave me my bigger bills back ($600 in singles 😅😂) and I just nonchalantly said, "oh, my husband works very hard for this money" and I drove off 🤣 my husband laughed when I told him but he was saying he might not ever be able to show his face at the bank again 😅

I really like stuffing my bills binder too. I know it's probably weird but I'm always so thankful that I am able to pay my bills every month. Love you videos! 💛

I use a dry Magic Eraser to remove sharpie from laminate. Works everytime and comes off pretty easy. You don’t have to worry about the smell from any liquid removers, waiting for the trackers to dry before writing again, or if someone has sensitive skin or is allergic to other things used to clean them. The drawings are so cute! You could laminate them and leave enough plastic at the top to punch a couple holes. Attach some fishing string or a cute ribbon and hang it on a command hook so you can flip it around to see both side when you want. If you want a frame, there are come frames that are glass on the front and back and they have a chain hanging from the top so you can see both sides.

@@LilyBudgets your welcome. I know the envelopes I'm going to use in my cash wallet will be amazing. I use an a6 which is why I ordered a6. I will definitely do a video of me putting them in my wallet. I also snagged some of savs placeholders

This is why I have a love-hate relationship with technology. They seriously do not have to over complicate everything, and majority of the time my info gets leaked its because all of these big tech companies and big businesses and banks had a security breach on their end on top of stressing me out with their nonsense policies and algorithms 😅 I'm glad you were able to get it figured out. I love to fish, too, but also hate taking them off the hook... but I sure love some fresh fried flounder! Great video Lily 💙🩵💙

Teacher hack for you to clean your trackers :) If you go over the sharpie with Expo white board markers, it should wipe clean no problem. Expo markers can take sharpie off of a bunch of surfaces! 😁 Hope this helps make the process less tedious.

Hi Lily, I'm new to your channel and I really found the sort of "how to" video super helpful! I'm actually in my early 40s and really never learned to budget anything...I have so many questions. Like one is where do you save money to for example get hair done, nails, get new tires, or travel? I feel like this is a great system and I'm interested to try it but I guess I'm struggling to understand how it works for all that misc stuff? thank you for your content!

@@yogakatsnaps hi love!! So glad you’re here and that you’re interested in the process! To answer your question about saving for miscellaneous stuff, that’s really where your sinking funds come in! If you know you want to save for self care needs, you can have an envelope specifically for that and save up! Same for car needs, travel, pets, clothes, gifts, fun, etc. Basically, anything that you know you’re going to want to spend money on at some point, you can slowly (or whatever speed you want) save up for those things💛 the system can be as general or specific as you need it to be, it’s completely catered to you! I have an envelope for personal spending, I just don’t get my hair done often and I do my own nails☺️ I hope this helps! Any other questions lmk☺️💛
