I can't even fathom into words what I am feeling right now. This is such a beautiful representation of what love truly is and was and ever will be. Dean Winchester never believed he could be happy. He never could even believe in himself most of the times. And Castiel was the same way. Following orders that were barked above from heaven. And not really giving a damn about the consequences. But they both taught each other that humanity and family is worth fighting for, even when the odds aren't always in your favor. I just find it funny how people think that the love they have for each other is one sided and Dean doesn't care about Cas in the slightest. I say that they clearly aren't watching the show and truly seeing the desperation that comes when Cas is either on the verge of death or nowhere to be found. Because Dean Winchester may express his emotions through anger, but he cares for that angel more than a lot of things I've seen him care about. He locked himself up for his years, ever since he lost Lisa and Ben, and don't tell me, after all this time, he didn't let his walls down for the angel Castiel. I feel this will forever become his biggest regret. Because Castiel said how he truly felt but he will never have the chance to say it back.

Yeah the second parallel was really about Dean and Cas relationship. Dean from season 7 was lost after losing Cas. I can't imagine how he would feel right now ;( It's heartbreaking.

coming back to this video after all that's happened recently and i just have to say that, like, wow, it's super comprehensive and powerful and you overlay the lines so well. my particular favorite moment, because i love this episode and i'm biased, is the bit where you use jeffrey's little speech about his demon from repo man - that whole dean mourning cas arc, i felt, was best represented there, in the relationship between jeffrey and his demon SO perfectly and yet i barely ever see anyone talk about it. honestly just. just a great video all around.

I love how this video shows the evolution of Dean's faith and belief. Before Castiel he was Sceptical. But then when he met Castiel, he started believing. Castiel gave him the faith. But by the end, when he saw Lucifer Kill Castiel right in front of him, Dean's faith died along with him. That my friends is the truest thing you will ever know about Dean and Cas' relationship. The writers can't even deny this.
