Pialli Pialli! I have a question. Why do Germans have a fascination with Native American culture? Why do they dress up and have pow-wows? Where does it come from? Tlazocamati 🤎

I like so much to look amazing Pow Wow like this , but Eagle feathers on top of the haed is for warriors only. Not for the ladies. I think this will be respectfully thing in front of all indian warrior societys , gone to the big ghost , gone in to the history forever ! They fight and die for their proud and way of life. Also ladies are beautyfull enough , dont need eagle feathers.😉 - Respect and warm greetings from Germany. Long life for all of you. Red Power !

Black Consciousness , 4rh great grandmother, that would be like 150 years ago. If you have an actual portrait of a Shoshoni woman that predates Edward Curtis that would be a very historically significant photograph. She must have been a very important person to have her picture taken.

I think that was before air conditioning and sun block. My father was Shoshone full blood . He worked indoors as a butcher. He wasn't as dark as the ancestors either. Just a thought.

"The name America was coined by Martin Waldseemüller from Americus Vespucius, the Latinized version of the name of Amerigo Vespucci (1454-1512), the Italian explorer... "We aren’t native to America. We are native to the place we have lived and thrived for all those thousands of years; where sacred tradition and culture were rich with verbal history and grand story-telling." Even the "native people" immigrated to "America." No one is actually native to anywhere.
