I cracked up when the author listed the reasons why their mother wasn’t hallucinating (when she saw her child’s doppelgänger). I don’t think smoking cigarettes would make that happen! 😂. I understand why he included it in her list of non-habits. I’m just in the recovery field, and would never think, “Well, he believes he saw a spirit, but he does smoke cigarettes, so you never know.”

This dude reads EVERY sentence with the EXACT same INFLECTION. He would describe a nuclear apocalypse or a 4 year old’s birthday party the exact same way.

Funny comment! 😂I noticed the narrator’s voice sometimes rises and falls in a way that’s reserved for cheerful events, where I live. Once I got used to it, I realized his lilting speech is consistent, regardless of what he’s reading (like you said). When someone consistently sound’s “different,” it’s usually dialect, unless it’s a speech disorder. My teacher from SriLanka and friends from India have an animated speech style, too. The narrator reads with appropriate emotion, varying his pauses, timing, and tone, IMO. My only request is to put the spooky/suspenseful music behind the voice again! Bad music is annoying, but his selections are really good! They enhance the story.

Story 1in, Why would a dog need permission to get a drink out of its water dish?! 😡 listening to their person is safe for the dog and everyone else but a animal should be able to get water whenever it's thirsty not when you say! That's horrible !!

Lol, the story of the house with antiques/cemetery fence with the ghost touching the toys is an almost word for word copy of a story told earlier in this same video. Only difference being small details like which toys the ghost touched.

The 2nd time he read LOL (and not Laugh Out Loud) I was listening at work and started giggling. My coworkers looked at me like I was crazy *^_^* This keeps me going & I appreciate time & effort lol 😂 ❤❤❤

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with doing so, if it adds information to the story. Sometimes it might clarify if someone’s tone is serious or joking.
