You can always tell a born fisherman that builds boats, because they pray over the boats they build. God is the master of land, sky, and sea and these guys praise him for it. These boats will sail on blessed waters. Not many folks know where Wanchese NC is, but you either fish and/or build boats there, and you have to be good at what you do or times get hard fast. Good job. At the end of the video you can place few technical details and specifications for a quick view. The vessel is beautiful, the simplicity is desirable, spacious, and seems a high quality and endure construction for extended adventures. I think is perfect for Greek seas (and not only of course. That is a large diesel engine man, don't confuse this with a multi-outboard go-fast boat. It's purpose built.

It's a center console 'that isn't', it's a cabin cruiser (without a cabin), it's a cigarette boat (that's not fast enough), it's a trawler (without accomodations), it's a fishing boat (without transom accomodations), it's a....well...I don't really know what it is...because other than being a DIESEL PIG, I don't see much it's really configured well for...unless your competition is BASS TRACKER!!! I guess the southern cartels will like it...then again, where are you going to put contraband? The engine-room? Only place below deck that we actually got to see! I've seen 50' trawlers with two staterooms and two heads and a galley below deck...I have a feeling the only thing this sea-swine had below deck was a 2,000 gallon fuel cell and that honkin' big MAN diesel!!! (oh, and a wet head and a galley...nestled next to the sleeping bag thrown up in the bow, that I can only guess at, because the camera was too busy circling the boat OUTSIDE to show the INSIDE!

Think of it as a million-dollar BASS TRACKER, made for close-coastal 'fast-running', where it's not really configured for fishing to begin with. Needless to say, only those in or near Wanchese NC think this is 'beautiful'...most of the rest of us that have sailed across actual oceans find this a LOT OF PARTS thrown together without purpose...which looks a LOT like a Boston Whaler on steroids that drinks FAR TOO MUCH diesel.

You can get 55' of trawler-yacht with staterooms, fully galley, nice salon, multiple heads and a walk-thru transom (complete with 1,000 hp diesels) mildly used for over half of what this chimera cost... I've looked at two this week that could do 10-kts for less than $20 per hour, under $300k that you could EASILY live aboard in style on...as well as fish or dive from the cockpit. Sadly, I landed on this vid simply because I had to see how this 'Boston Whaler' looking center console could ever POSSIBLY be 57', when it really didn't have anything on the main deck...I was right, it's a Boston Whaler without decent fishing provisions and far too much motor. Someone call Don Johnson down in Miami...Blackwell has his cigarette boat refitted with MAN diesels...ROFL

No fishing or comfort value added for a center this big. No one fishes off the side or bow. All those deep walk-arounds steal away interior volume. This looks like a wet and uncomfortable boat. More a gimmick than an improved fishing platform.

My thoughts exactly. What is its purpose? Party boat? All of that huge open space in the stern makes it unusable. No shade back there. No wind protection. You can't sit back there while moving either. At least there should be a Bimini they can rig.

If you have ever get the chance to ride in one built like this , the ride is amazing and At an effort to remain light they don’t put the cabins and such inside , this would be a great charter boat , also this boat is set up great for offshore cuase u will always be able to move around have angles to fight the fish up especially with the bow area
