Leaving Cromwell Lock behind me it was time to travel north on the tidal section of the River Trent. I ensured I was fully prepared with life jackets on, anchor at the ready and a full set of river charts detailing what part of the water I should travel on. It all went very well and I arrived at Torksey Lock a number of hours later.
