Video reflecting every sailor’s frustration - the damned wind. Loved the section on ‘the big-sheet’. BUT the sight of a bottle of Cune on the table while you munched on cod made my heart flutter. Well done & keep smiling.

You know, we traditionaly do not boil the cod. The person who said that probably can't cook or was lost in translation and did not know how to say poach the cod.

@JT-hm1rf it was Sei we were told to „boil“, not Cod. We love Cod but not (yet) Sei… if you have a favourite recipe for Sei we‘d love to know it… 😇

@@sailingpolaris Put filets of pollock (sei) in a mix of flour, salt and black pepper just before you fry it. Fry chopped onion and at the end add some water and broth. Serve with potatoes and vegetables. That's typical Norwegian way.

The problem is your boat, not the wind. Sailing in the fjords demands a one km tall mast and a fitting sail.

The problem is not our boat - it might be us asking for the impossible. Well, meanwhile we came to terms with that. There is a reason why the locals up here mostly have motor boats…
