as a very struggling artist. these tips were amazing. If i make it as an artist ima definitely hire people for some of these things too. Couldn’t rly think of any bonus tips besides being unique, consistent, and never giving up. Branding helps a lot too. u need to have a show of proof online that u are valuable along with sending people things. i know lots of people who make tracks that they don’t post and have talent but ZERO clout or identity/soul online

The identity and soul part comes with time, only by putting yourself out there. I’m in the process of mixing my album, today is a break day, I’m on track 5 out of 13 in just the mixing / rewriting steps, gotta rest my ears but best believe when it’s all done and mastered (on my own since I live out of the city and don’t have money to drop on mastering or for engineers) I do it myself and then create artwork, videos all that jazz, just gotta do it!
