You are so right I have watched pouring your heart out from the beginning she was always on hunt for taking other people ideas and showing on her channel and didn't even credit them thanks to Daniel he stood up for this and now she gives credit but all her workmis just a copy of other small artists. I always use epoxy for my blooms. You need less white. The white for epoxy needs to look more like 1% milk. So you should be able to see your stick when you tilt it. Since it's not as viscous as 4hr the white will sink far easier if it's too heavy. Otherwise, you did everything exactly like I do it. Yay, so glad you got the cups. I love those cups. I just wish I could find a small version of silicone stirrers to use in them. Like little 3-inch silicone craft sticks or similar. I've found I much prefer silicone stir sticks because of how well they scrape the resin out of the cups. Try the bloom again, but use less white. I don't know how much you used or I might be able to tell you. Based on how much I know you've always used in the 4hr, I would say about half or maybe 1/3 as much white.

Everything turned out beautifully especially all the extras i don't know why your blooms don't turn out when you use the reg epoxy i use the reg epoxy and mine comes out pretty good since I've finally got them blooms down now i still have some that don't come out so good ive started trying to do the triple 3D blooms and the quad blooms you've shown us and haven't gotten it down yet but i know i will because you're an Awesome teacher Michelle

I know you like to use let's resin but I've done many blooms... no waiting with pro marine / promise resin and it works every time! Even with mica powder mixed in.

Julie Cutts has used epoxy resin and gotten good beautiful blooms. I have never tried it because like you, fast cure works so well for me. I wonder since the tray was so large if the epoxy would work on the larger surface area? It’s really strange. The colors and extras were beautiful! I am saving up for the 2 inch shark tooth. I like to make keychains and it’s hard to find things for the guys. Say hello to Mr Glitz for me.

Try 38 or 39 deg and it’s needs enough resin to move. I was just watching Julie and she used a different resin and she made one hotter than the other. She said that you need enough resin for it to move. I would go through her video she is the bloom queen. The first bloom was beautiful.

I always use epoxy resin for my blooms. I let it sit 5 mins in the cup then pour. Let it sit 20 mins then do my blooms. It is kinda hot in my house so that may help it too.

I only ever use Lets resin epoxy Michelle, the same as Julie from pour your heart out. I leave it until it reaches at least 38c and use alcohol inks and Bloom paste drops. I can't say that they always turn out great, but on the whole they are pretty.😊❤

I’ve got the epoxy to bloom before u just have to get it up to like 102 degrees isntead of the usual 95 f. Also the tray may not have worked bc the tray was so big and the bloom was so big, maybe try it in layers do a smaller one and then make the next layer start around the outside of the outer edge of the first one. I see Julie from pouring your heart out do that a lot

Hi Michelle, thanks for the experiment. This is just an idea. I have no idea if it would work or not. The four hour bloom looks great. It’s awesome but I wonder if the regular epoxy would work in the bigger tray just because it needs more time to move, and then when you use it in the smaller coasters, it has too much time to move-and that’s why blobs but I have no idea because I have not gotten a bloom to work for me. I’ve only tried it once. thanks for sharing of all the extras. I have just recently made me some sharp teeth mold have not poured in them yet though when I saw that you made mold out of your teeth, gave me an idea because I collect shark teeth that I have found I made a mold of them the other day I also have some arrowheads that I have found that I want to make mold of thanks for all the great ideas!!!

I think you could save a step. Why not put the pendant hanger on when you put the UV resin on instead of waiting and using E6000. They will stick.😊

I think the problem the other day was the tray itself. Unless I'm missing something, I looked back on your videos and the one you did before was a triple bloom, the blooms didn't have as far to travel. Otherwise, I got nothing (?)

Oh yah! I heard you say you hated those cups, I did too. I had some leak on me, resin wasted. I wanted to tell you about those small silicone cup, I got those in a pkg with other small cups but I couldn’t find them on-line so could not share. Wow!! That 4 hour did perfectly in that bloom. I wonder if the shape and size of the tray mold has anything to do with the issues you had there? Maybe a lower temp for larger mold? Or higher? I really don't know since I almost exclusively use UV resin... but I'm curious to see further testing with the 4 hour and the trays... although I know you want a plan b before you start lol ♥

I love the fast cure one. So I am wondering something about the tray. I notice you say to do a shallow pour to get the resin to move right and keep the white from sinking. That works great for you on a coaster mold. I have seen other videos who do a bloom in larger silicone molds and they say to be sure and pour enough clear resin to give the bloom enough time to move. Because it has further to move before it starts to cure. What do you think about trying one more time with a deeper layer of clear resin? Anyone else think this may be the issue?

Michelle, could it be possible it didn't work in your tray mold because of the size? I mean you used your coaster ( which I love & bought one from you) tonight. I am just wondering if it's the size of the tray & how the resin moves in it & that's why it didn't work. 🤷I don't know. I am still learning all this myself. I left a comment b4 mentioning my confusion around the different blooms & multiple resins used & u had told me that u would never use epoxy for a bloom but I know I’d seen it done on Julie’s channel about 2 yrs ago. So I reached out to Julie & asked her about it Cz it was driving me crazy! She said yes she has had success with the 3D blooms using specifically Let’s Resin Epoxy Resin & said u just have to let it sit longer to warm up, which is what u did. This has to be torturing ur life that ur not able to get the results everyone says will work! It’s so bizarre that the 4 hr works perfectly fine on the smaller molds but only blooms halfway on ur tray! Could it be too large of a surface area? Meaning how resin cures from the outside to the middle & how the thinner or thicker the resin is poured, will cure faster or slower? Trying to think of all possibilities. I will see if I still have the message with Julie & add it as another comment or try to edit this & include it after. If u can figure out the problem with this, u will help sooooo many artists. It’s a Emergency Resin Investigation😂 Okay it won’t let me add a screenshot so what she said is she has done 3D blooms with their 1:1 epoxy resin, just had to wait for it to reach 30 degrees Celsius. This doesn’t help much but maybe u can collab with Julie & u guys could figure out why it’s not working well on the larger tray!? Can’t wait to see the solution/answer for this😊

@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 No big deal was just curious. I have only made a couple of bloom attempts so far. My first one turned out ok but didn't bloom a lot. My second one bloomed even less. May I ask what resin you use? I have tried with Ice Cast Epoxy Resin and Let's Resin 4hr cure.

Hi Michelle, here is a video from Julie (Pouring your heart out) where when she's using the Let's Resin 4 hour fast cure she only waits until it's 30 degrees (though I have also seen where she says 33) kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXnKgIGhn9Gff9E and then here is a video she just did yesterday where she went back to using the thinner Platinum 360 and so she waited until 40 degrees for the thinner resin to thicken so her white wouldn't fall through like yours did with the regular Epoxy. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a16Qc2Nmi79oiqs I hope that helps and explains things a bit better with the decanting temps and what not. In the first one she was doing a tray with the same petal pattern that you were trying to do in that tray last week and had some issues. Maybe that can help you figure out how to get yours to work 🤷‍♀Just a thought. Keep up the great work and thanks for the experiments! 💖😁

@@LoveArt_03 Not usually just regular blooms. Though she has been experimenting lately. She literally just did one yesterday, came out beautifully. She waited until the resin was 39.8 degrees.
