58 year old woman jogging came up to us and wanted to say thank you for cleaning up | Clean Up Lawn
As you may know, there have been many natural disasters recently in countries such as the United States and Vietnam, as well as in other countries. We would like to express our condolences to you and hope that you will quickly overcome these difficulties to return to normal life.
Today, we went to an area with many sidewalks overgrown with weeds, taking up the entire walkway. We cleaned a section of the sidewalk, and the results were impressive to the locals. While we were tidying up, a 58-year-old woman who was jogging came over to talk to us. She was delighted to see a young person with good intentions for the community. The woman expressed her gratitude and gave us some money as a contribution to help us buy more necessary tools. After that, she continued her run, and we went back to our work of cleaning the sidewalk.
Due to a lack of funding and equipment to cut the grass nearby, we could only clean up the outside area. After that, we collected the trash, put it in bags, and left it by the roadside to be picked up later in the evening. I didn't put grass and dirt in the trash bags to avoid overloading and making it difficult for the garbage collectors, as their job is already very hard.
