Now that some straight-up Texas ingenuity there with the fuel can! Now I Like that stance and placement of the bed! I definitely think you're on the right track with the bracing. Looking good and nice Progress !

How do you like that plasma table? I like the size of it can you give me some info on it thanks James
@MuggCustoms5 ай бұрын
@@Rustyhalligans I like it for what we do. The table itself is off amazon, measures 21"x30". It was a dry setup so I added a tray underneath to hold some water. Used a drain pan that is for a water heater I think? The plasma torch I use is an old Victor unit. Cutmaster 52. The controller itself is an arcdroid. I really like how easy it is to use. Has its limitations, man one is part size it can cut but its bang for the buck is worth it for sure. Also you can do designs right at the machine with its trace feature. Thats a huge plus for us

@@MuggCustoms yea man I liked the size my shop at home is only 1200 sq ft with a lift and you lose space quick when you add equipment. Also I’m an older guy so I have a learning curve with the computer ran plasma cutters I’m looking for something easy to cut out small parts
@MuggCustoms5 ай бұрын
@@Rustyhalligans it definitely has a learning curve but once you spend a week or so with it you'll get it. If you do get into designing stuff with a computer you can load those designs into it as well but Im not that guy either lol

@10:48 I have two points of concern. There's a missed opportunity and possibly a mechanical issue. The issue is how will you seal the fuel cap to prevent a fuel evap check engine light? and the missed opportunity by everyone I've seen doing this swap is why not have a hinging floor pan to take advantage of the negative space in the truck bed and use that for additional storage?
@MuggCustoms5 ай бұрын
@@trunk8d thats a good point, if it becomes an issue we will prob turn the tank into a hinged unit with a traditional filler neck inside. We did replace the filler neck seal as well at the tank. As far as a evap check engine light we don't have one to come on lol. We have plans to utilize the negative space as well, please keep watching to see what we do 😎

I don't mean to be rude, you don't have to explain everything, just build the truck 😊
