As far as I'm concerned you are a superhero. I have loved image candy since I was a child. There has NEVER been image candy more beautiful than what you create. In the way you like looking into the candy as the creator, I love looking into the candy sort of like a child looks into a kaleidoscope. It's sort of magic. It's almost too beautiful to eat. I keep holding it up to the light. " It is a kind of magic" I wonder if you could put together a stained glass pattern that the light comes through. Looking at these amazing flower art candies makes my imagination run wild. Thank you for sharing your talent with us in such a delightfully tasty way.💖
@LoftyPursuits7 жыл бұрын
Hmm. I think I could, but since stained glass reduces the resolution, I wonder if I could make an image that would be recognizable just out of geometric shapes.

Gorgeous work, as usual! Magnolias are such a gorgeous flower. I wonder, can you buy hibiscus flavouring? Hibiscus has an unique flavour and a bright pink colour. How about saffron? Yellow crocus flowers (maybe not botanically accurate, but yellow is associated with saffron, to not have it would be like making blue lemon candy, just wrong) and a flavour of saffron and honey. How about it?

I recently discovered this channel and it has really helped me out of a rut... watcjing someone so elated by doing something that seems so simple and meaningless, that some woild describe as nothing but the leading cause of cavities, but that you clearly relate more to the youthful, hapiness-filled days of childhood. I hope one sday i can possess such cratsmanship as to do something like this, and to do it so passionately yhat millions of people come to watch a simole man kneading sugar.

+Malice Stripes I've been thinking of putting in subliminal messages to take advantage of this. Since so many kids watch these videos, it would be things like clean your room, eat your vegetables, do your homework early. Most people don't know this but these are the actual messages that are played when you play Heavy Metal albums backwards.

Aw, i saw the thumbnail and got really excited thinking these were going to be magnolia flavored. The sunflowers, too - so many tasty flower flavors people miss out on (I actually had made sunflower candy at home just a few days ago!) I don't know if anyone even makes magnolia flavoring commercially, but you could probably get something similar using ginger and maybe a bit of pandan and jasmine flavoring. The end result are gorgeous little works of art! Image candy feels kind of magical to me and these delicate little flowers in the clear setting are extra lovely. Really curious if combining the shapes to get the sliced design you want is intuitive now or if maybe there's some tests on modeling clay or something similar before doing a new design for the first time?

Magnolias were always something special for me too. My state, Louisiana, has the flower magnolia. My aunt painted a picture of magnolias that has been hanging in my room for longer than I’ve been alive. I went to a catholic school and we celebrated Mary’s birthday with flowers but I didn’t get to bring any so a teacher gave me a magnolia. It’s just always something with me and I feel something sort of nostalgic about it.

Can't help but appreciate the fact that few episodes ago I asked when and how the candy was flavored and after replying to that comment you now also mention it in the video during the pouring of the candy. Its awesome to see you pay attention and respond to the comments and interact with the viewers. A new question though, the clear candy used for the crystal part of these was way more amber coloured than the ones used for the rose randy, yet the end result was still mostly the same. The rose one seemed to be a bit more clear but thats hard to tell since you have whit gloves on. I know you mentioned that clearing the candy was a trick of the trade and you won't tell how it was done, just curious why it wasn't done to the same extend this time arround. Also, negative points for not doing a happy smile as you started to pull the candy, that bit always cheers me up! So I grade this vid a solid 9/10.
