The outside of this is amazing!!!! Love it!! Not crazy about the colors in the center though. If it were mine, I'd put a decorative sticker over the middle that goes with outside color, pour a coat of resin and call it a day!!!

A resin artist might call that a fail because the resin dropped to the bottom. However it really is beautiful!! Someone who is not trying to make a bloom would never know what you really intended. Not sure on the colors as you said. My son says "you either win or you learn". So I guess you learned. Don't be so hard on yourself and please keep showing the wins and the "learns" too. This is definitely NOT a failure. To me it looks like an ancient stone ring with gold nuggets suspended in water. Mutti says that the resin has its own idea on how the out come will be. Which is gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️Alles gute und Liebe von Mutti und mir🥰🥰🥰

I don't think its a fail. It looks great. Really lovely crackle around the outside. Yes the gold has sunk and blobbed but because there's so much of it like that it looks as if its meant to be that way. If there were just a few blobs it would look more like a fail. I love it.

You are being much too critical! It may not look like your regular bloom pours, but I love it! It is very different, and the gold centre is very unusual and the outside looks a bit like a pigment powder that I have called “Mink”. The end result is a metallic looking, which is really nice, and different from other results. So I think it is a success…..well done! 👏👏✌️🇦🇺

To me it looks like maybe petrified wood around the edge with golden rocks in the center. Now from a floral standpoint the colors didn’t match nor seemed to a color for a beautiful flower. Not a total failure, just a very different look.😊

Your middle sqiggles were just too close together and layered, if it was done in lighter pearl colors would have looked like a hibiscus! The edging turned out really nice
