bro nyc is such a scam. and i say this as someone who lives spending time in the city. yes, lots of job opportunities if you play your cards right. but the elevated salaries are instantly obliterated by random taxes, fees and cost of housing. that said, i actually find that if you know what you’re doing you can find food for great prices. and i also have zero issues having a roommate. but having your own good spot or buying is financial suicide!

I am very much like you....I'd rather have the space, especially given that most of the newer condos seem like you are living in a shoebox. I agree that your kitchen could be bigger, but overall your Condo Unit is 🔥!! I didn't hear you say how much the rental fee is....but now I see it's in the thumbnail! Not a bad price, and probably even less with a 12 month lease! Either way, that's a Great Deal!!

A corporate job is ok if 1: the pay is decent 2: hours/stress is not high 3: you work in the city you enjoy If all 3 are satisfied, I think staying in a corporate job is fine. Not everyone can live as a digital nomad
