Dear Sir, Can I navigate through multiple tables using only one form? {Requirement is to create an audit form for different excel reports of machines. I do not want to design a form for each table separately} Is there a short way to do this?

Hey Richard from Alabama! Why not use mail merge documents?

Who's from Alabama? You? I'm in Florida. :) Why use Mail Merge when you can do the whole thing in Access?

Hello, I know this video is about a year old now - at 30:40 you mention overlaying text fields on an existing form as an image in a report. This is exactly what I am trying to do. I find that merely including a text box on the report in design view where it LOOKS like it should go produces highly inaccurate results once you switch to print preview mode (usually resulting in overlays being quite out of alignment). I have to more or less trial-and-error the positioning of these controls, clicking back and forth between design view and print preview. For people like me trying to hack something together like this, do you have perhaps a follow-up video that goes more in depth? And maybe also covers improved print quality of the underlying form having been converted to an image I'm using in the background? As it looks quite low quality. Thank you in advance!

Rich, do you teach VB using Visual Studio?

I have nothing at the moment. I have some older VB6 lessons, but they're like 20 years old. I plan to do some VB lessons hopefully later this year.

Do you have any videos that explains how to allow an employee to save a pdf to a customer file.
@599CD2 жыл бұрын
You just print preview the report and then save it as a PDF file. I cover that in my very first Access Beginner 1 class: 599cd.com/ACB1

dear sir, is it possible to draw any type of shape automatically in ms access. I mean that, i put several value and automatically drawn a shape on basis of my inputed value

You can draw lines and rectangles... so I guess if you want to do the math and draw other polygons and circles using lines, it's possible... but I don't recommend it. Access isn't really a graphics program.
