I'm toying with the idea of making my own floral floating sympathy wreath to set in the ocean & want it to be as biodegradable as possible. I'm in Victoria, BC, Canada. We have Michael's Craft store & I can buy fresh flowers at Thrifty Foods but I have no idea what to make the base out of. I haven't found anything very helpful online. Do you have any idea for me? I've never made one but am crafty and use to make fake flower arrangements in baskets as gifts. Idk if maybe a basket would do the trick if just made of wood? Maybe it could float? Maybe too heavy? Thx for any inspiration ahead of time.

Beautiful but too many roses, they should be kept for weddings not funerals .

Says who? If the deceased loved roses then roses they shall have!
