Loquat Jam Recipe: 200-300g of sugar (depending on taste) for 1kg of fruit pulp, 1 lemon, and 1 apple as a thickener.

Bonjour, I also enjoy preserving fruits, sauces, etc... I just made Black Forest cherry jam. I had to pit them but at least I did not have to peel them. LOL!!! Gave me 6 jars. It also will be lovely in crêpes, over oatmeal and my favourite,, bagels topped with cream cheese. Your new sofa cover and pillows are lovely. Bonjour Cory, je ne connaissais pas le nom anglais de ce fruit alors j'étais intriguée. Mais quand je l'ai vu j'ai poussé un cri 😂 . J'adore ce fruit, des nèfles en français. Je n'en trouve pas souvent ici dans l'Est de la France. La dernière fois que j'en ai vu c était dans une petite rue à Paris et j'étais aussi heureuse qu'aujourd'hui car cela me rappelle mon enfance. I noticed this year too our big box stores that have all nursery plants have been really expensive. I usually go to the clearance section and buy something that looks half dead and bring it back to life. But I refuse to get dianthus or carnations again. I can see you getting an olive tree and a fig tree to put at your place for outdoors.

Yeah, I am doing the same with plants. Trying to find best options in discount. I would love an olive tree, but they are sooooo expensive. We had a fig tree but its roots were under the house and it's been destroyed during the works... ❤️🌸🤗

@@cozyhomediary I'm looking for an olive tree too and still waiting to get the best price. The only time I see them in the grocery store is around Mother's Day but too expensive. 2 years ago I just happened to be at Lowe's at the right time when they're perennials or 75% off. I had gotten a white hydrangea tree for $23. It supposedly died this spring when I found a black Walnut growing underneath it planted by a squirrel. So I have it growing in the compost pile and watering it because I was reminded how you didn't give up on your pine tree. Last year it did grow a sucker on the side of it and oulled it off. it's doing really well.

Purtroppo penso che ci sia tanta speculazione, alzano i prezzi e la gente compra sempre meno, ti voglio raccontare una cosa, un mio carissimo amico senegalese ( vicino di casa), lavora in una fabbrica di smaltimento rifiuti, arrivano camion pieni di ogni genere di cosa, qualcuno potrebbe pensare, ok sono rifiuti, ed invece no, sono prodotti, oggetti, che arrivano da magazzini, sequestri, quindi cose ancora con l'etichetta, un giorno mi chiama e mi chiede se voglio qualche fiore, bhe ci credi che hanno dovuto smaltire un camion pieno di fiori, piante, piccole, grandi, ho riempito il mio balcone, di azalee, un ficus, edera, e altre piante che non ricordo il nome, ma la domanda che mi faccio è, perché se non riesci a venderla non la regali? Perché buttano tutto? Io da un anno a questa parte ho smesso di spendere i miei soldi, ho imparato che il mio lavoro è faticoso, che i miei soldi hanno un valore, quindi preferisco metterli da parte per poter iniziare a viaggiare visto che non l'ho mai fatto. 🤗 Buona domenica 🥰

Stanno rovinando il mercato di ogni cosa. C'è uno spreco assurdo in giro con tanta gente bisognosa... Ho visto dei documentari sul mondo del lusso e fast fashion e succede uguale. Tutto quello che non si vende, va tagliato, bruciato, distrutto... Anche io ho smesso di comprare tante cose. Vivo di rendita hahhaah. Ogni tanto qualche sfizio me lo faccio, ma anche io prefersico mettere i soldi da parte per viaggiare (e per finire la casa hehe). Alla fine viaggiare è la cosa più bella! Buona settimana! ❤️🌸🤗
