Brownie points for including an entire section to talk about body proportions. That's overlooked a lot! The licensing restrictions in AUS are interesting. The US is just kind of a free for all once you get your moto license 😅

I really appreciate you watching and for your feedback 🥹🥹 thank you so much. Oh really? Could a learner ride a liter bike immediately? 🙊🙊

@@motophie immediately. There’s a younger guy in shared friend circles that’s about 19-20 rode a Busa, then just bought an H2. A terrifying thought really

@ThePhamtographer THAT IS A TERRIFYING THOUGHT 😬 people joke about getting a busa as a first bike but didn't think it actually happened

Great first video. One thing to also add for female riders is to not be afraid to try on non-female oriented gear since u want to find the fit for u. :D And don't forget to consider getting motorcycle friendly earplugs! Some helmets will not have the best wind-noise reductions (looking u AGV boys and girls) and I would slot it also into safety and well-being (u don't want that ringing sound). ALSO ALSO make sure to get gloves with PLASTIC/CF palm sliders and not the rubber ones :D

I'm not old enough for anything but if I stay interested in motorcycles, I do want to get one in the future. It's just a lot of steps where I live. And a lot money that I don't have 😭 Thank you for the video!!

Great video!, you hit so many important points for new riders!. It's really interesting to see how different things are over in AUS, I fully plan to visit there and rent a motorcycle while I am there if I can haha, I only have a motorcycle license in the UK and have been riding for around 6 years. I keep joking im gonna live in Aus in the summer and then live in England in the summer so I can ride with less rain.

Thank you so much for your comment! 🥹 Ooooo that is a great plan honestly! Living summer in the northern and southern hemisphere for 24/7 riding weather 😎 What’s the process for getting your license in the UK? Is there as much rain and gloomy weather as it seems?
@thatwolffe38027 ай бұрын
@@motophie it was raining really bad on my test haha, yeah the weather here is pretty bad but we do have some relatively hot summers due to the humidity. In the UK there are 3 license categories, A1 which is restricted to 125cc, A2 which is a BHP/KW limi,t and A which is unrestricted. You have to do a CBT (compulsory basic training), A computer based "Theory" test which includes a Q&A segment and a Hazard Perception segment which is just a mini game of clicking a video when you see a hazard. And then you need to do two tests and Off the road test (Mod 1) which is a lot of maneuvers in a closed test circuit, and then an on the road test (Mod 2) where you will have an examiner follow you. If you fail Mod 1 you have to redo it before you can do Mod 2, also the CBT and theory certificates only last for 2 years before you need to retake them. However you can ride a 125cc motorcycle on the road with L plates on just a CBT, just can't go on motorways or carry a passenger.

@@thatwolffe3802 Oh wow that's super interesting! So if you go through the entire process to get an unrestricted license and pass Mod 1 + Mod 2, could that be done within a few months? Or does it take some time?
@thatwolffe38027 ай бұрын
@@motophie you can do it all within a couple weeks! But for most people it takes 2-4 months I believe, for me it took 2 months just because of costs and waiting times for tests.
