Great Video with insight. But it seems that the Max Allowed LDPC input size for Procedure C shall be 8424 (which is the maximum input size of BG1 exclude 24bit CB-CRC) .

thanks for video.. but I wanna ask a question to you.. is this mechanism just valid for downlink link adaptation ? or what about uplink link adaptation ? is the arrangment of MCS ealized at gNB for uplink link adaptation ??

Yes, this mechanism is valid for uplink also. In uplink, MCS for PUSCH transmission is decided by BS and conveyed to UE via scheduling grant (DCI_0 within PDCCH). BS adjusts _uplink MCS_ to attain a _target BLER_ , typically 10% for MBB traffic.

so, if I'm going to simulate a certain service from 5QI with certain SINR in 5G NR what paper you could recommend, so I could calculate accurately the carrier capacity (not just Shannon capacity)?
