Hell yes you need to attack this record. I've run this course quite a few times. Tip 1: pick a morning between 42 and 58 degrees. Tip 2: Train/live at a higher altitude for five weeks and then run this course. Tip 3: Use Strava Segments as a training tool. Tip 4: Use Sunscreen and/or wear a long-sleeved hooded shirt. Good Luck!!

That was impressive! Breaking 16 at a bit more than a mile high, despite the conversion calculator, seems to be closer to breaking 15 at sea level. 85 miles....that would be a high mileage week for most marathon and some ultra runners who aren't from Kenya or Ethiopia! You are crushing it.

No spoiler prediction at altitude with tired legs maybe 15:45 or so. Edit: Heyy 15:56 at altitude on tired legs is really solid man! You could probably go way faster on that one course you ran 14:51 in. I would love to see what you could do in a 2 mile or a 1 mile time trial on a track with spikes on, but that's probably wishful thinking. Keep up the amazing work on your videos and your running man, lets goo!

I loved the first "every step of the way". Between that and all the experience you've gained doing interviews at park runs you might want to consider a career in sportscasting :)

The already generous altitude time conversion calculator you were using literally says on the sidebar “for the non-altitude trained runner”. You live and train here now… Should Conner Mantz and Clayton Young adjust their “predicted marathon pace” training runs that they’ve documented to account for the fact that they’re in Utah? If so looks like they’re going sub-2 in Paris! 😂 You’re an incredibly fast runner. No need to puff up more and explain why you’re not even faster.
