The car rental, hotel out fit the works! I'm sure there a tons of people who would love to win something like this. I would love it but I'm too old and have health issues. Yes! sounds like fun but I think Jen goes on these trips while the children are with their Father. It's sort of a distraction from the pain of not being with her babies.

It’d be cool if you had a cheat sheet of your meals for the weekend or even just for a specific race. I’m a SUPER new runner (officially started last week and turning 40 in August 😮) and I have no idea how to help my body and eat when I’m hungry.

Congrats! How do you signal when you are slowing down? I didn't know that was a thing.

So if you run/walk generally it’s best to hang towards the right side of the middle while running and then make your way all the way to the right when walking. Signaling with a hand up before slowing down. I always look in my blind spots first too, just like I would do changing lanes driving a car.

A friend and her two daughters (little ones, I think they're 6 and 7) ran the 5K and it was their first time ever doing a RunDisney event. She said that she tried to teach them to be aware of other people running, but they're kids. They were excited. So it didn't really happen. They got some rude looks and comments, but she said that most of the people just smiled and waved at them. But she said they may not do it again until the kids are older because she felt that they were getting in the way of the more serious runners.

I’m sorry they didn’t have the most positive experience. FWIW I really only noticed adults not really understanding race etiquette. Like I said, it didn’t bother me, it was just interesting. I think there’s a larger percentage of race newbies that attend princess than other race weekends. It’s all good - we all start somewhere! And somethings you just don’t know until you experience them. I’m all for more people dipping their toes into runDisney and experiencing that joy. And always here for the kids running - so freaking awesome 👍

My first and only Disney 5k was 2022 Princess and it was SO FUN. My daughter loves Alice and has never done RunDisney so we are hoping to get spots together for the Wine & Dine 5k 🩷
