Love in action. We are doors, not doormats . Love others as God loves us with boundaries in place. Just this week, I witnessed something very special that touched the heart of many. My family and I took a day trip to Salem, OR, to learn and see our State of Oregon State Capital. We ,while mom ( me ) took a ride on the carousel at Riverfront Park. The card machine was down, thus cash only . A man with two young daughters was not able to purchase tokens for the ride on the carousel . One of my sons had cash on him, and he said thus was not the norm. He purchased the tokens and called out to the dad as the family was leaving. He gave the family the tokens, and the girls rode on the carousel. The cashiers expressed over and over to my son how kind he and what a thoughtful action of kindness he shared. I ,too, agreed with the casiers. My heart was touched by his act of kindness, as were the two cashiers. We never know what our kind deeds mean to others. ❤ 🙏 ❤
