Instead of glue for the charcoal mask, you can use egg white. It dries the same, pulling out the gunk from your skin. Elmer's-type glue is pretty safe; kids eat it every day (kids are gross). It is made from cow hooves & horns and horse hooves , boiled up and combined with other stuff to make it smooth yet sticky. [Animal proteins can all be used this way; milk, skins, hooves, horns, eggs, etc. Gelatin is made by boiling up hooves and horns, too (including Jello brand). If you don't want to eat it (I don't), read labels. Marshmallows and Yoplait are two surprising places gelatin is found. ] As for the pencils on the eyelids- if they are your own pencils, and they are new or have been kept put up away from dirt, etc, they are probably safe if they are labeled non-toxic. The biggest issue I see is if they have sparkles. Many substances used in art supplies to create sparkles are very bad if they get in the eyes, so avoid that. Some of these "hacks" have been around since my grandmothers' time. They called them "beauty tips", and natural products were all they used, as petrochemicals hadn't been developed for use in cosmetics when they were young (early 20th century). With the exception of toxic metals, I think using natural stuff is healthier and will make your skin looks better in the long run. (People used to use lead as part of their face cream. Don't ask.) Anyway, thank for the videos. I enjoy the 5-minute Crafts immensely.

However I am going to guess that most people wouldn't bother looking up if the pencils they found in their home are non toxic 😣 and that could be dangerous if used on the eyes. eye infections, chemical skin burns, color staining are real possibilities of using incorrect and not eye safe pencils on the eyes.

people replying acting like waterproof makeup would solve this.... "waterproof" makeup (particularly products meant for application over large areas of the face, i.e. foundation, contour, concealer, etc.) is usually only SPLASH-proof, i.e. it can take short exposures to very small amounts of water, but when it comes to actually being submerged in water for prolonged periods of time, it won't last. i said this is particularly true for makeup which has to cover large areas of your face because, unlike eye products, they are limited to inredients that won't make you breakout, because most people will not rebuy a product that gives them acne every time they use it. this means practically all types of oils are out of question. "waterproof" makeup is a lie. - sincerely, a girl who wears makeup daily and goes swimming in a nearby lake every 2-3 days

Whenever I see the ones where they put foil on their teeth, it makes me shudder. I still have metal fillings from when I was a kid! Ugh, the feeling of accidentally biting down on a piece of foil left on my chewing gum still hurts when I think about it. It's worse than licking a battery.

At 12:10 please go easy on the cinnamon because when I did this mask which I had found online my face was on fire. It burned so bad and then even worse to get it off. Test a small area first because your skin could be sensitive/alergic to it...it's strong stuff.
