Definitely! I am wondering if, in this case anyway, it's thanks to Sam Raimi directing. The Tobey Maguire Spider-Man suit is still one of the most comic accurate comic adaptations in a superhero movie, and that was really important to him.

I know I’m probably a little late, but another decent option I found for the Multiverse of Madness cape is the cape from the basic series Infinity War/No Way Home figure. It has very similar details to the Legends, but it fits alot more snug around the neck and shoulders.

I prefer the design from MOM for sure, but I like how the NWH is textured and detailed. Also, the more time I spend with them, I have to agree that the MOM version has a slightly better likeness, absolutely.

I would honestly take the No Way Home cape and drill a peg hole to the Multiverse of Madness figure and peg it on. It's not a BAD base sculpt but that cape is terrible

@@5POAFigureReviews Okay, so I got a spare No Way Home cape off ebay and did the cape swap on the Multiverse figure and it worked perfectly. It's amazing how much this figure is elevated by a cape that stays put. You just need to make sure you place the hole at the right height so it sits correctly. I also added slits up the sides of the Multiverse figure to free his legs up and give him the ability to stand with his legs in a bit of a wider stance. In the mean time I took the No Way Home Strange and stared adding some paint to his belt to kinda match it to the Multiverse Strange, a little red here and some blue there, etc. I also took a wide, flat paintbrush and used some flat white acrylic paint to lightly drybrush the magic discs both figures came with to bring out the elaborate line work on them. In the end I managed to make these figures a draw as to which one I like more now.

1:07 Look at the way the Cloak Of Levitation rests on the BAF box art of Strange vs on the actual figure. Disappointing.

Ideally, Strange should have a wired cape. Otherwise, it would be so cool if every Strange they released had new, backwards-compatible cloaks in different extreme poses so you could mix and match various looks.

Oh my gosh not even close. McFarlane figures are so much more detailed, have much better resemblance to their movie or comic counterparts, more durable, usually have more articulation, are 7 in instead of 6, and are usually cheaper too (but not always). The one flaw with McFarlane figures is that they oftentimes don't come with very many (or sometimes any) accessories
