5r Moving Head repair - Stage light Restoration

Join me in this repairathon as I tackle six moving head fixtures from a prominent AV company. I may not be the biggest fan of these Chinese beam fixtures, I've noticed that the gobos are boring, and the components are of lower quality. However, this project not only promises an intriguing video and provide me with some money in my pocket for future project.

How did you get the sticky stuff from the plastic removed?

Basically an APC cleaner for the small marks and a special sticker remover, it's almost like "white spirit". It take a lot of effort because it dissolve the rubber coating. For the worst pieces, I changed them by better shaped ones.

I used for mine whashers aluminium cleaner from Berner. Soak it up and leave 5 minutes and after that clean it with mjcrofiber cloth. Extra tip is that after that i put silicone spray to get that shine :)

I have 2 beam 230 7r both lamp on for 30 seconds then will lamp off and won’t lamp Back on till I manually strike them in the menu, then will do the same lamp off again and repeat any ideas?

Lampe are gone. Try with brand new one (take a good quality lamps like Philips or osram)

Are the fans running?

I had problem with fans on bulb ballast. Fans didnt work and bulb will went off. Also can be ballast or bulb.
