I totally agree with you, but the reason Ashton doesn't have many solos isn't because he's underappreciate or anything. It's more because he's the drummer and it's extremely hard to drum and sing at the same, which is why most drummers don't sing.

Ash also recently said in an interview somewhere they were wanting to have a few other people to tour with the band, maybe that means so that he can sing and play guitar with the boys (like the've done a couple times on small acoustic shows lately) and someone be drumming for them.
