I feel like Luke is one of those people who needs someone to encourage him and tell other people to shut up when he wants to talk because he doesn't want to interrupt anyone but you can also see at many points in the interview (e.g. at 3:49 isn and again at 4:00-4:12 you can see he gets a little frustrated because he wants them to get off the subject but no one will let him talk) he tries to speak up but then someone else starts talking and he just patiently waits for his turn but when he does speak its really well thought-out and funny and intelligent

Yeah he was like at 4:08 "Yeah and its like..but..okay." when smallzy interrupted him. I agree with you. I mean, I guess he's just being polite and we all know he's a little bit more shy and reserved than the rest of the boys but he needs to speak up! I think he's getting better at it as time goes on.

Yeah I want him to have more confidence in himself and know that we really like hearing what he has to say and I just hope he knows that we all love and support him. At the same time, I don't want him to feel forced or like he has to speak because we'll be upset if he doesn't; it was just an observation and a reminder that people need to be aware when they're interrupting others because when you get interrupted it makes you feel invisible and like your opinion doesn't matter, so I just want to make sure that Luke knows we love him and care about him :)
