Michael Gordon Clifford, way to make me emotional. It made me so sad when those words left his mouth before hey started singing. I can't believe he's gonna be a dad now. Time is flying by, it's crazy. I wouldn't be who I am today without these guys. They helped me so much throughout middle school and high school, especially when I lost my Pappy in 6th grade. I found them a little bit after he passed away and they helped me get through that hard time in my life. Calum inspired me to pick up a bass in the first place. Now me and my friends are trying to start a band virtually until we are able to do practices in person since there's like a two hour or so distance between all of us. Anyway, what I''m saying is that I probably wouldn't have been so close to being in a rock band with my friends if I never found these guys. Hell, I probably wouldn't have even met my friends because maybe I wouldn't have been into music as much as I am now. Now music is my life and I thank these four amazing Australians for inspiring me and for sharing their amazing talent with the rest of the world. You four have saved many lives and I gotta say, you sure helped mine! Thank you so much for everything you four do. I do hope that you guys will continue making music and being a band, but I'm sure things will change for you guys soon with Luke and Sierra getting married and Michael and Crystal having a baby. I just hope whatever happens will be good for you guys. If you need to take a break, then take that break again. I will support whatever you guys do next! I hope I can see you guys live again some time, that was one of the first times I was happy after my Pappy passed away. Much love!

THIS IS THE ONE. THE ONE. This song has meant so much to me since the day it first came out. It has helped me through so much shit it basically helped me survive my teenage years. There were times when I felt like I couldn’t make it through and I didn’t wanna stay. And this song helped me feel less alone and it helped me want to stay. Every single time I hear this song I get so emotional. And hearing this version with the mature and raw beautiful vocals is just so pure and heavy at the same time.
