5th lip reconstruction surgery !

Hi my name is Brooklinn khoury, on November 3rd of 2020 my life changed instantly. I was attacked by a pit bull, who took off my whole upper lip and parts of my nose. Thank you for being on this journey with me.

your lip/nose reconstruction surgeries are a literal masterpiece, look at that talent to literally sculpt a real face! my dad is a plastic surgeon and people don't appreciate their jobs enough because they see them as rich ones who profit from superficial/useless surgeries that make people look fake... honestly look at that, a work of art... trust the process girl, you're (and have always been) stunning and seeing the journey makes me sure it will be all worth it in the end!

I work with plastic surgeons who reconstruct trauma patients and children with cranio abnormalities. I was listening to a podcast yesterday where they started talking about plastic surgery and bashing what a terrible industry it was. There is so much confusion and misinformation about it, it’s not all about boobs, noses and over done lip fillers.

I have been self conscious about my body for so long and after having babies my non existing boobs went from a to negative a. I got my boobs done a small b almost c cup and I was so happy. I did have my last baby and breastfeed so they are uneven now and I am still happy but when I get them replaced I do want to go a little bigger

FYI: piercings can be kept open with fishing line (not metal so it's allowed) thread it in a sewing needle and insert into the piercing with the blunt end (eye) of the needle, tie it off and cut it off after surgery. Do you always get keloids? I do sometimes, but I've never had an issue with surgical scars. Surgeons will generally do an amazing job at reducing scarring.

Your video popped up in my feed, I watched it ,then went to watch a few more. Wow!! You look great!! It's incredible and beautiful what most surgeon's can do these days. I look normal, but on the inside , I'm definitely not normal. I had cancer, and my cancer treatments caused a lot of damage to my kidneys,intestines,and stomach, so much damage that I had to have over 30 surgeries. I had a colostomy bag for 2 years but thank god , I was able to be reversed. The surgeons used part of my intestines to fix my bladder and kidneys the best they could. For as much as I've been though, I'm doing pretty good and no one would ever know what I've been through by looking at me. I was left with chronic diarrhea for the rest of my life, but that is so much better than having a colostomy bag! Everyone has a story, Thanks for sharing yours! From one strong woman to another, you're a fighter and you got this lady!!

So beautiful my daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate and the beginning of this month I took her to her 1st appoint in a few years ( moving situations) and she is due for her bone graft (scheduled DEC 21st) and I’m always excited for her but I feel like This one I’m not ready for especially cuz she is older and was so young with her others ! Omg you wee darling ❤️ you're doing so well, I think I just about cried at this video with your wee face in the hospital, when my daughter was 23 she had tongue cancer and had to get 1/3 of her tongue cut out, everything is great now and she was pregnant at the time and my grandson is perfect, she is 25 now and just gets a lot of check up,she is doing amazing but still suffers from a bit of PTSD because of it . If you ever have trouble taking your medication again, try crushing it and putting it in applesauce, I did that for my mom when she had neck surgery and ended up in a halo vest. It helped her. I'm amazed at how well you are doing!

Hi! I’m 22 and I wanted to say this is actually inspiring to get surgery on my lip! I’m super scared when it comes to surgery but seeing this and seeing how strong you are inspires me. My bite wasn’t bad, but my lip was hanging off and will never forget that day and how it changed my life and social Interactions. It was hard adjusting when I was 12 and kids were kids. Now that I’m an adult, i want to do it for me and not others. I just needed the push because I hate the blood, pain, and all that
