I respect what both bands are doing in the 5quarter, and both did an exceptional job. I have an issue with A&M band not playing through out the game as if they were saving their show for the 5 quarter. ASU challenge A&M several times in the stands and they refuse to play a song back. I just hope bands don’t result to only entertaining during halftime and 5 quarters, I’m not a fan of that.

This looks and sounds like a really good high school band performing in the same 5th quarter "with" a college band. Just doesn't seem like a competition. ASU for the win. Also, all I could hear in my mind when the ASU dance teams merged was Monique saying "come on big girls!! Let's go over here and show these skinny heffas' how we do it"!!! (lol) If ASU doesn't put both the Stingettes and the Honeybees on the field for a routine TOGEHTER then they have missed a golden opportunity for a show-stopper!!!!

I can respect both bands without throwing shade. A&M Band is balanced a sounds so good ASU is just louder, louder doesn't equate to better quality or better band in my opinion Just compare the “I’m Your Baby Tonight” that both bands played. A&M had the more complicated arrangement. ASU just plays with a little more power. ASU plays everything with a little more power than A&M. In a music theory class, a louder volume doesn't always mean better quality or a more collegiate sound. In conclusion, there isn't a lot of separation between the two bands musically speaking. The biggest difference I hear is how the arrangements are written Both dance team are elite HBCU dance lines in my opinion. I like the DIVAS more but that's my personal preference. I'm not saying ASU isn't good. That's great for Alabama and the SWAC We have to stop this “trashing” the other school to make our points I can say, my school did better without calling the other school trash
