Best review again. Your the 1st reviewer to notice the fact that Jstate play damn near a new book every week. Thats insane. Not to mention the fact you see them every week. Unlike lots of these other so call top bands we've only seen two or three times a whole year.🤔

@@KeenanEdgerson same can be said for Alabama State. None of their 5th quarter battles have been the same, we’ve seen them every week and they’ve brought new music whenever we saw them. Same goes for the ASU Stingettes. This was the second week they had an actual break of some sort. Nobody has battled or had more events in the same timeframe as MMH and Stingeyes. Next season Alabama State shall be an even bigger issue.

@@YourGoat803 Boy does Jsu attend every away game they have?? ASU just had two classics back to back before JSU. The largest HBCU classic in the nation which is bigger than anything Jsu attends all year ‘Magic City Classic’ against AAMU. Then immediately after that Bama State traveled to Mobile for ‘Port City Classic’ against Alcorn and many call both best battles of the year. MMH deserved a break not traveling to Gram, and no one cares. They also had a break before the FAMU game which had moments that are still talked about today. Jsu fans will get on here and say anything to boost y’all own heads up. 💀😂

JSU is definitely a jaugarnaut definitely 1of 3 top bands in the swac this year however fans and alumni of all schools need to be honest about these battles when your band or favorite band loose or it's a tie keep that in mind fans and alumni of every school every battle nonetheless JSU clearly won it wasn't close but I will also say just so we clear this year JSU lost against TXSU and some people will argue the Boombox could go either way and I'm not mad about it shout out to the BOOM one of my favorite bands for a long time and for this flawless victory this battle I agree with KVO on this battle ASU definitely disappointed me this battle in terms of being prepared for this battle, song selection/placement, and execution good win JSU

I kind of feel like Bama State's crowd gave the false impression that they were doing a little better than they were doing. The band has a lot of potential though. They had some good arrangements, but at times I thought there were some execution errors. They definitely played a gospel song too early. There was a round or two where the Boom left an opening for them, and it would have been perfect there. There was one song the BOOM played that I've seen people hyping up on other versions. It was like round 7 or 8. KEvin was directing it. Might have been right before Bama State played Euphoria. I wasn't feeling it maybe as much as some other people. There were some songs I thought Bama State didn't finish as strong as they started. The BOOM definitely won against SU and TxSU. I was in person at the SU game. They weren't hitting in person

This JSU band ain’t start the same as last year but when I tell you they’ve gotten to that point now. Last year they were untouchable all season. This year the first couple weeks were shaky and they’ve become unstoppable again. Boombox 2 is not gonna be as close as the first time around if they keep this energy. And they will be prepared too. People gotta remember this year is a young band, especially the Tuba section.

Jackson’s ‘Euphoria’ exposed them here, sounded a mess compared to Bama State’s arrangement and execution. Jsu over-blows everything they play. It doesn’t help that their arrangers are writing for VOLUME and have no clue what a pocket is. Listen to DT on that song and listen to SB on the same song. Difference is clear imo.
