They spent too much time preparing for the Dolls, when they SHOULD’VE been preparing for the top team in the SWAC in the J-Settes. Now Motion is clean as a damn whistle. That’s undeniable, but that’s where it ended this battle. The count selection from Motion’s captain was poor. Almost as if she was running out of counts or couldn’t think of anything to throw that made sense. So hardly any of it made sense! 1-by1s in a 5th quarter is lazy for any team that does it. You had time to learn the newest J-Sette counts at a failed attempt at a diss, but didn’t have time to come up with one of your many stand routines to replace that train wreck in round 1? Yeah, okay. This is what I mean when I say gimmicks don’t work against a team with a long-standing identity. This was embarrassing for Motion.
