Look, the GG's... I can't even put into words. I have always been a fan, but every year they get better and better. Like anyone on this squad can step in as captain in a crutch. They are ALL heavy hitters. They are also sooo clean with such fast intricate counts. I had my doubts about kevia as captain at first, but if I ever see her, she can punch me dead in my face. She is on of my favourite captains. Her count selection is ridiculous... She really knows the music! The GG's own the stands. Nobody can touch them.

They miss counts while they are moving slow and seem unsure of themselves. This team is not up to the normal standards of SU teams. Never thought I’d say this but ALCORN as a whole ate SOUTHERN the hell up !!! The band sound was very whole and cohesive, they sound damned good with a bomb music selection. Kevia gave something I’ve never seen her give! Just pure raw hunger and excellence! She led her team well. The dolls were cringe worthy… had no Swagg! I found myself looking at the piccolos to keep from cringing 😬 some stands were off from music, hell the music selection was boring so maybe that’s why stands were boring. Cameron @ 12:42 -12:41 looked like yea I’m over this. I felt your pain cam! Damn!

‼️I’m going to say what a lot of people are afraid of saying but the GGS DEFINITELY slayed here ! Love my dolls but this is where they need something more to their style to make them stand out and less boring to watch . I personally prefer the Dolls' style, with some spice. I think last week for them was stronger in terms of cohesion but I'm happy for new counts, and individual progress and standout moments. I don't know enough to say that the spice to me is reminiscent of Dani, Jordan, Jada, Kaylon. But I think the doll style is unique enough that these notable names (and I'm sure I'm missing more so tek it easy) would still fit in with the doll style and no other. I would hate to click play one day and find that dolls were dancing like the ggs or settes switched with stings. It's why HBCU dance experience is so cool to me. I will give the ggs their flowers for this performance. Say that you will, in their style, stands and field were top notch and they always come hard. To be more visually entertaining they would have to physically jump through the screen and into your house. But I like the nuance of the dolls and there is scope for the very subtle and the super spicy in that style as well. It's why so many teams (excluding pvamu and Orchesis imo) have remixed some or all four of these styles to their benefit. But again, just my opinion. 🙏🏽

To be technical dancers you have to be technically train. In a studio. By a professional dancer. Some may have been but the only school I know have dance company is gramblin. If you dance for a band,YOU ARE A MAJORETTE at the end of the day. Bring PROFESSIONAL dancers and teachers who have been doing it for years and let them critique them. I bet they will cringe at Leaps, turns and more .

The squard this year for the Dolls is not excellent at what they do, not by a long shot. The last two year have been pitiful. Let's just hope for etter things next year.

People saying you cant compare the two but chile if you would've put Danny/Jada up against the GGs either or would've given the girls a run for their money! The dolls could've gave just a tad bit more energy this game. It was technical and beautiful but the energy was lower than usual.

Dolls are BORINGGGGG🤦🏾‍♂️ I don't wanna hear it's 2 different dance styles cause Su plays all types of music. Jazz dancing to every damn song is NO EXCUSE. GG'S understood the mission! They embrace the spotlight at all times and they're always ready for WAR. 💯

THANK YOU…take off the white gloves and they are a complete blur. All the moves look the same jazz hands, wave over head, and point the toe as you sit. I can’t remember a time when I went the Doll went off not 1

Even though this was two styles of dance. I get it I like the dolls however this wasn’t a match for them today. Just saying the GG's DIDN'T Come to play. They understood the assignment!!!!! kill or be killed......PERIOD!!!!!!
