Why Benedict sound like they were on punishment? 😢 They weren’t FULL ( pushing air into the horn…playing your part) but they were present ( played like you were there but didn’t want to be )

Nope. You hear how FV sounds…as if everyone WANTS to play the music. Pushing air through the horns…creating a FULL sound. Benedict sounded like they were exhausted, over it or had no business about themselves. You shouldn’t sound like you JUST got the music to practice near end of season. Example: Spain. Hope that helps

I’ve heard better from both groups . Despite the opinions of the comment section , fort valley didn’t sound that great . Sounded thin in some areas but see the execution they were attempting for their style.. Definitely expected a little more from Benedict. They usually have a much better sound and hope to see improvement from them in the near future

Both could have did a lot better. Benedict needs to invest into different mouthpieces or something. FVSU was over playing everything and sounding pitchy. Clean the crap up. Bands need to get back to the basics. All bands now a days over play sacrificing the music for I don’t know what.😂
