Excuse me, what do you mean by there are no like terms? arent 6X and 8X like terms? what do you mean there are no like terms

when he says “no like terms” he means that there are no like terms on each side. 6x doesn’t have a like term to combine with on the left side and 8x doesn’t have any like terms to combine with on the right side. i’m not very good at explaining but i hope this helps
