Great tutorial....have you thought of putting the pocket envelope on the outside? It makes it much easier to pull the tag out especially if you use it for a photo or journaling....just a suggestion, that's what I did for mine and it worked really well. Thanks for sharing.

I loved the videos! This is one of my next projects! Could you add flaps or fold out portions? Could you move your score mark on the envelope flap to maybe 1/4 inch so that you had a little more room for expansion? Just some thoughts I had for doing my own, but would like a direction so I don't mess up... I love all of your tutorial videos! Even the boring parts!!!

I read through the comments and seen that a chipboard spine wouldn't work. Would there be anyway to hide the spine if you wanted to?
@babytweetums7 жыл бұрын
You could always use a piece of flexible canvas for the spine, just wrap it a little loose so when the book is open it still lays flat :)
@Canadian6939 жыл бұрын

would a chipboard spine fit this album?
@babytweetums7 жыл бұрын
I don't think it would work without tearing the envelopes, because of the way they lay when open :)

@Tinkerbell313268 жыл бұрын
I love the album but having your pocket opening at the spine will make it difficult to extract your mats. Access to your pockets woukd be better to be accessed at the outside edges.
@mewm178 жыл бұрын
Patty K - I love your suggestion! How did you do that? mewm17@gmail.com
@Tinkerbell313268 жыл бұрын
Hi Mary, Well the envelopes need to be cut on the outside edges before any printed decorative paper is put on. All you need to do is take a very thin slice off the bottom edge of the envelope. Eliminate making the opening of the pocket facing toward the inside spine. Once you join your pages just seal that area. MayMaymadeit on youtube made an envelope mini album. It was quite nice . Fabian's album is beautiful but extracting photo mats from the inside will eventually start to tear the pages.
