Did the samething you did but, used rebuilt kit on all injectors with new o-rings. Didn't want to take any chances. Also, put in the new streamlined nipples with o-rings in both oil rails. Mine is a 2003 6.0 that has over 12,000 miles since being worked on. Think it runs better now than it did when knew. Did replace the high pressure oil pump,oil cooler and with new IPR, ICP and standpipes while being very meticulous on cleanliness when having the top of the engine open.

Good tutorial on how to diagnose and repair. Nice ending where you mention other potential high pressure oil leaks. Question: for standpipes and dummy plugs why cant you just replace the o-rings rather than get new pipes?

Honestly I've never seen o ring seal kits for them. As far as I know you only replace the actual dummy plugs and stand pipes. There are Teflon seals also to keep seals from blowing out. I've never done it but there are companies that sell welded stand pipes so they are one piece. The connection between the two is where they generally leak. You can look it up

Thanks good job. Working on my 03 6.0 crank no start. Ipr removed, gonna get icp soon.I have scan Gauge 85%.Hope valve and sensor and pigtail fixes it.100k on hpop and I hope thats not the problem. I not a mechanic but I can turn a wrench. Icp wiring oil soaked.

I have a 04 ford 6.0l reseal engine new oil cooler, new steam pipes , new oil rail o rings, new icp, ipr, and new hpop still been have a problem starting up

Just found your video my 6.0 is doing the no start my question is if your low oil pressure gauge is not moving at all does that mean the low oil pressure pump has gone out? Or should I try something else?

Remove the oil filter crank over engine see if fills up with oil. If no low pressure oil cannot have high pressure oil. Message me on Instagram if you need more help

Is 33 torque ok ?? I’ve heard 33 to 60. But I am still having trouble with starting. I have new nipple cups o rings and replaced stand pipe.

Omg yes it is so common, and what is worst is that since Ford changed who is making them the OEM parts are failing at very low mileages. I want to try the welded stand pipes TBH.
