6.0 PowerStroke VS 6.7 PowerStroke!?!? Which Should You Buy???

Thanks for watching guys. Also, I clearly said in the video $10k-$15k to buy a good 6.0 then you'll probably be in $20k (truck and bulletproofing costs combined) total to have the truck bulletproofed and solid running. I did NOT say it'll cost you $20k to simply bulletproof.... I feel that I was fairly informative and gave an honest statement. So don't troll lol.

the new gen 3 and 4 6.7s are FAR superior in ever way possible now. hands down modern 6.7 not even a comparison nowdays

The 6.7s with bad turbos were only the first few years of them I'm pretty sure. They were trying to be innovative with that dual compressor wheel and ceramic bearings. Those were the ones that crapped out fast. From what I heard the newer ones are basically Garrett Powermax turbos with a VGT system added on. But awesome video nonetheless. Just meant this as a "for your information" kind of thing. Awesome channel!

I'd get a 6.0, here in Alabama they only go for like 10-15 like you said, get it bulletproofed and then do the 6.7 front end conversion, all in about $20k give or take on the conservative side

im debating betwern 6.7s and 6.0s myself. im leaning towards 6.7 because on the west coast 6.7s go for about 25k for an alright truck. 6.0s go for like 15k, but after bulletproofing youre closer to 20k. for 5k i think its worth having a truck thats 7yrs newer, fewer miles, more reliable, better looking, ect. the mods to a 6.7 are nessesary, but not quite as nessesary as a 6.0 so id feel okay driving a 6.7 a couple years while i pay it off.

whoever is charging 4K for a remanufactured turbo is on some fucking hardcore meth, you can get aftermarket single turbos for well under 4K for these trucks , 4K is almost in the realm of what it would cost to get compound turbos

he's pretty darn steep on those prices of course I'm on the other side of the states so prices are different but I wouldn't get turbos threw him if he charges 4K and it's not even aftermarket unless that's the best you can find where your at

I would not buy a reman turbo might as well stage 1 or 2 upgrade so you know you get a good turbo. In my 6.0 i blew a turbo and all i could afford was remaned but i was scared that turbo was gonna blow too

11-13 have the bad turbos after 13 they addressed the ceramic bearing issue and switched them there was a big law suit over it 6.0s run great if you don't beat on them but they have to be babied they are one of the most temperamental engines their like women some are great some are shit lol

6.0 was the most worthless piece of crap ever put under the hood of a Ford. The 6.7 is actually a decent motor. You keep talking about turbo failures on the 6.7 so far none of my friends including my self has had a turbo fail in a 6.7 some trucks with over 200K. I think your making the turbos a bigger issue then it really is. Can't say the same about the 6.0 countless turbos failed under 50,000 If you want a reliable, cheap to maintain Diesel get a Cummins.
