6,000 Somali military personnel trained by Türkiye since 2017

Strategic relations between Türkiye and Somalia go back more than three decades, but military and economic cooperation has recently come under the spotlight with the two countries signing a long-term plan to revamp Somalia's military capabilities. Our correspondent Obaida Hitto was given access to the main Turkish military base in Mogadishu where troop training is under way, and sent this report.

In exchange The Somalis will be under their protection, we abolished slavery as per the treaty and honored it. And the Brits in the treaty said they will protect Somalis. But there was the “Abyssinians” Ethiopians who had a back door to the scramble for Africa. Today the Europeans or westerners try to glorify Ethiopia as the oldest Christian country. But it’s not a country. It’s an empire that role played itself as a crusader to get on the Europeans soft spot to expand itself. They were there when French, Brits, Italians were dividing Somalia into 4 parts. Ethiopia was never more than happy, they invaded and tried to take the 5th region of Somalis. The Somalis fought back. Ethiopians cried and sent letters to the Europeans crying just like Israel is today. You can read some books I can reccomend and it’s the exact same formula. but to finish up the story. The Europeans rushed to Ethiopia and gave her Weapons and Ammunition, also disarming the Somalis to be easily defeated. The Ethiopians marauded the Somalis even taking slaves, the Brit’s turned a blind eye on purpose to that, the treaty said to protect Somalis they didn’t honor that either. And so ever since then we been struggling to get the 5 regions of Somalia 🇸🇴 together. The 5 points in our start star ⭐️ represents our regions inhabited by majority somalis who are neglected and put under Immoral authority. One day inshallah. We will be one, and be self sufficient, and strong. So strong that we will help other Muslim people. Thats the Somali struggle.

I am very grateful of the Turkish support in Somalia. It’s far better to make people self sufficient instead of reliant on an endless cycle of aid, Türkiye understands this well. God willing by 2030 we will have an effective and modern military like we once did and will be able to secure and safeguard security and sovereignty for ourselves, Your help will not be easily forgotten. It wasn’t even all just military. My beautiful nephew was born in a Hospital established by the Turkish state in Somalia. Many of the fine medical professionals who looked after my sister were trained by Turks or in Türkiye. They are a very kind and honourable people. She had some medical complications but alhamdulilah she became healthy again and her son is strong. First and for mostly by the grace of Allah and secondly due to the support of Turkish people. As I sit here now after fasting , while my nephew and son play together in front of me. I am truly grateful. Alhamdulilah.

We need a peace keeping force, muslims and other sane nations of the earth. We proposed that ever since the beginning, you can find Erdogan, our foreign minister Fidan, many many times saying this in many occations, even today they said it again, publically and to Arab leaders since the beginning. What happened? the Israelis ''warned'' the leaders of the Arab states 'don't do anything or we'll have you taken down from power'' so all they do is ''condemn'' with no proper action, they did nothing, even invited netenyh to Dubai etc etc We are still proposing ''let's get together and form a peace keeping force and stop this brutality'' but it's falling on death ears in the muslim world because of ''bad politics'' and rivalry and fear. A Turkish legal team went to International court, even the UN said they want to use our legal case on behalf of UN to file a suit against Israel. How many lawyers are involved in our case, I think it was 3000+ all signed and endorsed and backing the case. We stopped buying Israeli products, even non Israli companies/brands that sponser Israeli sports teams etc but these are are ''supplementary efforts'' sure boycotting works to some extent and should definetally be done but the situation calls to stop the brutality. Our calls went on death ears in the Arab governments, not the people, but no one has moved to join, so we merely sent in 200 thousand tonnes, one tonne is one thousand kilograms, so 200 thousand thousand kilograms of aid supplies, ambulances, medical needs, clothes, heating appliances/fuel, foods etc etc, with cargo planes, ships. Where do they need to go in from? Egypty or Jordan, there is no direct way into Palestenians lands because we DO NOT have a peace keeping force in the region because of Arab leaders. Now US has expressed that they will built a port in upto 60 days ! WITH Israel to have aid taken in from, why is US and Israel doing this and not muslim countries ?!!! can you not see the politics and control in this? !!! What is the king of Jordan doing? throwing 38,000 SINGLE USE rations to a people of 2.3 million ! that means 38,000 sandviches for 2.3 million people !!! and poses for the press but not joining in on a peace keeping force or allowing bases to be used by a possible peace keeping force, or allowing Palestenians in Jordan to cross into Palestine to help. The Palestenians have said rightly ''our war is with Israel, but our struggle and trial is with the muslims''.

From somali 🇸🇴 turkey helped us hard time and we tanks turkey for that many years arab countries speciel saudi arabia have pay alot of money to western oil company not to help to our resurses know turkey is Helping us that is good what resurses are we talking about well our sea somali watters we have alot of fish speciel tunna fish the hall wolds tunna fish central is somali sea we have oil and gas alot of them more than saudi arabia and we wanna giv our brothes turkey 30% of those resurses ❤ so 10 years from know somali and turkey economic is another level 😂😊 so ones agian know lets get us rich 😂🇸🇴
