Here you will find the absolute BEST quality episodes of the ORIGINAL broadcasts, ALL episodes from ALL seasons. To see the shows in their original broadcast order and continuously between parts, please visit my PLAYLISTS.
Hosted by Leonard Nimoy and broadcast weekly from 1976 to 1982, In Search Of... is the greatest mystery documentary show ever. I grew up watching this show, enjoying the spine-tingling presentation of quasi-fact and dramatic synthesizer-heavy music of Rinder and Lewis.
I am not selling this material, neither am I interested in buying bootlegs. I have posted to make evaluation of this excellent but underrated series possible.
Thanks for watching!

Jim Jones wasn't sane from August 1978? Wow, covering your arse there just a bit, Chuck? Jones went *completely* mad by mid-1977 at the latest, and Garry can't admit that because it'd mean that he supported an obvious psychotic all that time. It doesn't take a psychologist to work out that Jones had 'parent issues'. He despised his father, a weak wreck of a man who was permanently maimed by gas in World War I and could not work. Hence his demand that his drones call him 'Dad' or 'Father'.

@charlesvan13 Jones didn't commit suicide and neither did all of his followers.. let me ask you.. do children commit suicide? Lots of people were murdered, lots willingly died. Jones was shot by means that did not come from himself. There are several therioies on this. Search Google: Alternate Considerations for Jonestown and Peoples Temple, won't let me put addy.

People gave him his power...he sought the poor vulnerable, old, young and abandoned. Kind of reminds me of our current politicians.

@millerfamily03 People who were on the scene shorty after everyone was dead said that there were gunshot wounds on hundreds of people. Also many were said to have looked like they had died in a struggle, with many injection marks on many of the bodies. If you committed suicide voluntarily surely you would have taken the drink over the injection, and besides; many of the injection marks were said to be in places were you would not be able to inject yourself, like your upper back etc.

@mindfreakpro I get like this sometimes - I find the dovumentary great - but I am so taken aback by the subject matter I am afraid to hit 'Like' for fear people may think I agree with the subject matter. I've somewhat overcoem it - realizing none of you know me - and those who do would find the thought of me agreeing with this insanity dowright impossible. (I hit 'Like'.)

@LeanaJoH76 I certainly hope you are mentioning this to add to Jim's profile not out of pity. There have been men and women with similar starts in life who ended up alright and didn't kill a slew of people.
