Christian, everything is good now. I had extra control panel windows open, that is why I couldn't see the change. Closed the extras.

use the command line cmd, and verify the changes on a windows pc, on routers also use command line interface

For a little bit, it was not reflecting the change in the command prompt but now it is. I was doing ipconfig to check it. Now it is reflected in the command prompt. I don't understand either. But thank you for responding. That particular computer is very old though, that may be why this happened. I use it so I can have 3 for my cisco labs.

For some pcs the changes take time to take effect , so please wait a minute to verify changes

Hi Christian. I just saw your last response, thank you. I am having another issue. On Part 3, step 1 it tells you to change the ip address of the pc. I did that under the ipv4 properties box. Then I pulled up the command prompt to verify and those settings will not change after repeated attempts. Do you know how to fix that if the tcp/ip setting won't change? Again, I am on the real equipment with a pair of 3750s.

I noticed when you copy and paste the commands for S1 the VLANs don't match up because I show a 5th VLAN which was VLAN0002 for ports Fa/13-18 instead of. Did you make an edit to your video that would cause a different result? I've been stuck on this lab for a while and I'm not sure what to do.

The configuration text that I copied to the device is incorrect, the next steps on the lab is troubleshoot all those errors.

I know that but on 2:50 of your video did you already troubleshoot that VLAN or was that just to show the incorrect results. I have a different incorrect result that shows more VLANs than yours. Would it be a packet tracer version issue?

Never mind I needed to delete the VLAN.dat. Thanks for the help

All the process is the video, take care on every detail and all work fine (switch model, port connections, text file, etc.)

I was so happy with your videos in CCNA 1 and now Im beyond frustrated with you going way out of order on the solutions compared to the questions. You say it would take you over 2 hours or more to get them done but I have been working on this assignment for over an hour already because everything is so out of control! I might just stop watching your videos all together christian because this is not the first time you do this and use the excuse that it would take you longer to get them answered and making our lives a living hell! SMH
