This second lecture on masonry introduces the test programme at TU Delft. In plane, out of plane and large scale tests are presented by Roel Schipper. The lecture outlines how laboratory experiments combined with numerical simulation can lead to a better understanding of the behaviour of masonry during earthquakes.
