What a wonderful lecture! Understanding these aspects makes studying science a lot less frustrating. I remember when I was a kid I always hoped that one day I would understand all the fundamentals of science intuitively. To be young and naive :)

'The scientists back then had an illusion that the world was going to be comprehensible' I thought most scientists still thought this way? And if ｔｈｅｙ don't think this way, then what do ｔｈｅｙ believe in if not a higher pｏwｅｒ？
